There isn’t anything quite like day drinking on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That’s why O’Donoghues and The Carriage have collaborated to put together Penrith’s latest and greatest Sunday session – say hello to ‘Bloke’s Burgers‘.
Think sky blue days, warmer weather all made the better by $15 burgers and jugs of Pimms cocktails and even jugs of Philter XPA. It isn’t everyday we get to celebrate Sundays in such a manor, so they’ve even teed up the cream of the crop, of local musical talent to set the mood (Thanks to Andy Illinois) from 3pm onwards.
Now, you say – more about the burgers. It’s okay, we haven’t forgotten about your tongue smacking against your lips in preparation for the upcoming menu breakdown. It is as follows:
- Mach Pelicans Revenge Karaage Barramundi, Wasabi & Yuzu slaw, kabiyaki sauce
- Trojon Toots Fried Jerk Chicken, Streaky bacon, iceburg wedges, Lemon aioli, Pineapple & Habanero Jam
- Just a Minor Threat Black bean & Basmati patty, Vegan cheese, iceburg wedges, Red onion pickle, Smoked tomato ketchup (may we just say it’s 100% vegan)
- Blokes Beef Ground Beef patty, Streaky bacon, Swiss cheese, iceburg wedges, tomato, piccalilli, Beetroot relish
Hungry yet? Yep, us too! See below for more snaps!
Kicking off on the 11th of November, it’s looking like it’s going to be a pretty great summer of fun down at O’Donoghues.
